28 weeks

I had an ultrasound today and baby is looking good! He's moved into the head down position and is measuring in the 50th percentile. It was fun to get an idea for how he is positioned because I am feeling some pretty interesting movements and now I can picture what he's doing!
Yesterday I actually had somebody ask me if I was going to deliver soon. That is the second person to ask. Really? Please. You have no idea how much this body is capable of. Remember this? Now that is a belly ready to pop! We are just getting started at 28 weeks. Let the final countdown begin!

Usually ultrasounds aren't given at this stage in pregnancy, but I had a low lying placenta and they wanted to be sure it moved up for delivery (it has). It was actually a huge relief to be able to see our little guy and know that he is healthy and looking great. A lot of my fears have been put to rest after seeing him and after making it through the 27th week. I feel pretty relaxed for the first time this week (not sayin' it's going to stay that way, but it's pretty nice!) and I'm sure it has to do with being able to see that everything is great thus far.

Now it's time to start thinking about names. . . . .
