One of the things my mom did with Micah while she was here was start the potty training process. It has been a nice little distraction for me to focus on and I must say, our little guy is doing quite well! We are on day 3 and he has only had about 3 accidents, which were partly my fault because I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have. He is rocking the potty training and we are excited! Unfortunately we haven't really been brave enough to start the night time potty training, but we'll get there soon enough!
For now I am just thankful we can get through the day with minimal accidents and diaper free!
I will definitely be taking baby steps in the potty training department with Micah. Step 1 - diaper free during the day. Check!

Good Job Micah (and mommy :))
Hi Amy and Chris,
Congratulations on your potty training victories! I am proud to say that I am mostly potty trained also, if I do say so myself...
Your cousin Davey has found a very nice place to stay in Connecticut (Norwalk). He's with a self-proclaimed computer geek, who works with IT during the day and is on the computer in the evenings as well, lol. They are sharing a very neat and clean home -- he even has a weekly maid! Feel free to call him and invite him to Boston sometime! :) His cell is 913-709-2337. God bless!
Warmly, Uncle Rob
Yeah for potty training! I totally remember my sticker board. I wish a sticker still got me as excited as it did back then :) Ah the simplicity of childhood! Hope he picks it up quick! We missed you all so much in Florida and hope to see you soon. Although I am fearful it may not be till 2010 :( Love you guys!

Way to go Super Micah! Grammy and Papa are so proud of you! Way to stay on top of it, Amy and Chris! It takes a lot of focus, doesn't it?! Loved the pictures! We love you all and miss you so much!

Congrats on the great start to potty training!! I just wanted to encourage you to not worry as much with the night-time potty training...I kept a pull-up on Oliver during the nights until he woke up consistently dry in the mornings, which was within a month or less of being day-time potty trained. I actually don't think we've ever had a night-time accident (he's been trained for almost a year). Definitely don't stress yourself out about the night-time part!! That's my two cents :) Yay Micah!! And I'm continuing to pray for your sweet hearts.
