Our Anniversary

This weekend Chris and I went to New York to celebrate our 4 year Anniversary! It's hard to believe we have been married 4 years already! It seems like just yesterday we were moving into our small apartment on the West Side of Colorado Springs. Since then we have lived in Thailand for 9 months, moved back to Colorado for 3 months, moved across the country to be in Connecticut and started a family! For (relatively) newlyweds we have been through so many different experiences already. We have grown so much and learned how to love each other better through it all. The past 4 years have been some of the best years of my life. Chris has been an amazing husband, friend and father. He has loved me, supported me and encouraged me through the years and I am so thankful to be his wife! I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with anyone else. Thank you, Chris, for loving me and being faithful to what God has called you to do. Happy Anniversary!

After meeting up with good friends (and babysitters) Nathan, Katrina, Beth and Steven, we went out to eat at a great little Italian restaurant. It was great to catch up with our friends and splurge on good food. After our lovely dinner we handed Micah off to our trusty babysitters and headed out to see "A Chorus Line". I LOVED the show as I grew up dancing in ballets and dabbling in Tap and Jazz. Chris found it amusing and entertaining too! Unfortunately I was coming down with a cold so after the show we had to head back to our friend's apartment and cut the evening a little short.

Here we are posing outside on the balcony of our friend's apartment before our big date

Here we are right before the show, I'm totally psyched! :)

Best Anniversary gift ever babe!!!
