Our Big Boy

Chris has recently taken to the art of shaving. Seriously. He told me the other day that shaving is not just "something you do every day" it is actually an art. OK babe. It's an art.
He purchased this old fashioned shaving stuff and now uses it daily. It's a new daily ritual.
Well, Micah thinks this is just super cool. He loves to watch Chris shave in front of the mirror and asks him if he can try it.

We've been trying really hard to get Micah to stay in bed lately and we've found that little incentives seem to work well. Chris found this pretend shaver kit and it was just the trick!
Micah stayed in bed right away when he saw what the reward would be!

Micah is really in to the big boy stuff lately! He likes to do all sorts of big boy things. He helps me out around the house and often helps with Livia. It's nice to have a little helper around the house!

Just today I was making the bed by myself (usually Chris helps me in the morning) and he rushes over and says, Mommy! Do you need some help? Sometimes when somebody's at work some big boy has got to help the woman! haha! I just love my big boy!
