Livia Joy

Quick Update: Both Amy and Livia are doing great. Amy was discharged from Mt. Auburn Hospital today. Because Livia was so early (8 weeks), she'll have to stay in the NICU at Mass General for a few weeks.

I'll let Amy write about the wild ride we've had over the last few days when she is up for it. In the mean time here are some pictures that I hope will tide you over.

Livia with all her gear before she left Mt. Auburn Hospital for Mass General. She was kind of a sad sight, but she was breathing room air on her own. (a few minutes after she was born)

Just chillin' under the blue light. (Sunday afternoon)

Livia's home for the next few weeks.

Finally relaxing with mom. (Sunday night)

What precious, beautiful pictures. Thanks so much for posting them! The first one with the c-pap reminds me of our early days with Asher cause he was on that machine too. Way to go for her breathing room air though...woohoo! Praying for a quick recovery for you Ames and for Livia to grow stronger each day. Love you all!

Congratulations, SO nice to see her and Amy together! Andrew spent his first several weeks in a similar NICU bed and he's doing great, and has been a constant source of blessing to our lives as Livia will be to yours!
Hope that Davey can get up to see you sometime, he's enjoying Norwalk and NYC! Love, Uncle Rob

do you think there's room for one more with Livia under that nice calm blue light with the sleep mask? I feel a nap coming on! :)
