The Baby's Room

Ok, so I think we are pretty much finished getting the room ready for baby Stroup. This weekend we made some final preparations and started washing linens and clothes. This baby has a pretty full wardrobe!
I think he already owns more clothes than Chris and I have put together. We are fortunate to have friends that have just had a baby in September and have passed on many outfits that have never been worn or have only been worn once or twice.
As you can see, space is limited so we are trying to be creative with storage!

When we first started making preparations for the baby's room I was really into it and had a lot of motivation. BUT, we just found out a couple of days ago that we are going to be moving into a nicer apartment (woo hoo!) in a few short months. Our landlord is offering us an apartment that actually has carpet (wall to wall), so we are pretty excited about that. Needless to say, I am finding it hard to spend much time doing anything worthwhile around here!
Anyways, here are some pictures of our "nursery."

This rocking chair has been amazing during this last trimester! (Thanks Mom and Dad!)
I have been sitting in it everyday just rocking back and forth. It's really soothing and seems to be one of the only comfortable chairs in this house!

I am officially considered full term (37 weeks) on Wednesday! It's exciting to think we could have the baby any day now, but I try NOT to think about it because it could also be 5 weeks from now (and I'm ready to have this baby tomorrow!). I am still feeling pretty good and working 3 days per week. I am hoping by staying busy over the next 2 weeks it will make the time go faster.

The Red Rocket has finally started to give us some trouble. We're not exactly sure what the problem is, but Chris is trying out a few possible solutions. We are praying the problem is minor!

Hey sister,
the babies room looks great. You guys have really made that room look awesome. I am so excited and can't wait to see my little nephew. My official guess is that my nephew will be 9 lbs 2oz, and will be born on march 31st. Mark it on your calendars and put it in the books. Take care, love you guys.
