Papa and Grammy

My parents just recently came for a visit (towards the end of August. . . .I guess it's not so recent anymore!). As I posted before, we had a great time landscaping and doing other random things. It was ultimately a relaxing time with no agenda at all. It seems like the time just flies by when we are together, but I am thankful they are willing to make the long trip out here. Now that we have a guest room it makes visits much more manageable (hint hint everybody!). It doesn't seem like we are on top of each other and everybody gets a work out (the guest room is in the basement)!
While my parents were here, Chris and I took our first overnight trip without Micah. It was so much fun spending time with each other and taking time to remember our love for one another. . .apart from children. Sometimes it's so easy to forget you have an identity other than "Mom" at this phase in life. I always pray that God will remind me that I am not just Micah's Mom.
Here are some highlights from their visit:

A trip with the guys to Fire 'n' Ice, Sunday Brunch, Micah fell asleep in the sling, he was so tired!

Making faces with Grammy before bedJust chillin with my papaBlowing KissesA trip to the IMAX (where Micah also fell asleep!) and the Museum of Science
