mom tip of the day

Meet our newest member of the family:

Yes people, it has finally become necessary for this family to acquire a minivan. I must say the difference between packing three children into the back of our Saturn like little sardines versus a spacious open back with room to spread out is a total game changer. I can leave the house now. And I don't get frustrated and angry with carseats and buckles. This has changed my world. Never thought I would be a minivan type, but I'm totally digging this van!

So here's my mom tip of the day:
When you're loading the kids in to your snazzy new car and you realize it's covered in snow and you're going to have to brush it off, it might be a good idea to load your 10 week old baby into the vehicle before your start.
Chances are, if you start brushing snow off and you leave your baby on the ground next to the car, some snow is gonna fall right into his carseat and he might get angry and then give you the biggest frown of his life after you've dried him off and made sure he isn't frostbitten.

Not that this happened or anything, just sayin'!

LOL! Such a face. Oh scrapping snow of a car......its hard to believe its been like 7 years since I have done that. I have become thin skinned. I give you props for loading up and taking out all of them in the winter! Not an easy task I am sure but am glad the minivan is helping :) There is something about 3 babies, it seems to be a total game changer from 2. From one on one to zone parenting!

When you have time, I'm gonna need the scoop on the minivan since hopefully we're getting one in a few weeks! Nathan is not overly thrilled but hopefully your enthusiasm will spread!
