Well, the wedding has come and gone and the cake turned out beautifully! After hours of smoothing and 4 different buttercream recipes we finally ended up with a decent wedding cake!

Chris has made me vow not to bake for at least 1 month. Any mention of wedding cake or cake in general just might make him cry.
I can't finish this post without thanking Chris for his patience, encouragement and genorosity in caring for our children during the process. It was a fun experience, but not one I which to duplicate any time soon. ;)
