Lots of catching up, I know!

So I finished the race and it went really well! I still need to post pictures and give the full update, but I am patiently waiting for some good marathon pics from my brother-in-law (hint hint!).

We had such a great time in Seattle with my family. The only thing missing was my sweet hubby who had to stay back and hold down the fort! I ended up finishing the race after 3 hours 15 minutes with about 6 or 7 bathroom breaks in between. The most frustrating part was using the bathroom so often! I think I could have made much better time without those bathroom breaks, but one of the babies was directly over my bladder the entire time. And, unfortunately there were lines at every bathroom. During a race! Crazy! Baby doesn't have much room in there and hasn't really moved since! Ah well. It was fun and I sincerely hope to do this again either next year or the year after when I am NOT preggo! The rest of my family (Joni, Josh, Sarah and Dad) finished strong as well. Mom was gracious enough to take the kids for the day but she hopes to run or walk this sometime in the future!
After the race we hobbled around for a few days but we all remarked how great we felt in spite of the 13 miles we ran/walked!

My brother and his wife then took us to the Hood Canal for a few days to relax and unwind. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Micah had a great time with his cousin Maddie and we really enjoyed some great down time with the fam. We just wish Chris could have been there. It was his ideal vacation!
On the boat for a relaxing ride. Micah LOVED the boat. In fact, by the end of the the vacation he was saying, "Uncle Josh! Come and pick me up in my boat." My boat. haha!
Watermelon babies!Peaceful mornings on the canalThe ferry ride over. Micah loved it.

I will post some pictures of the race when I have them!
