So our Doctor's appointment goes something like this. . . .
Being the planner that I am, I really wanted to find out the gender of our baby because I like to know what I have to work with.
I asked the Ultrasound Tech if we were going to be able to tell what we were having and she said there was a pretty good chance. She squirts the gel on my belly and starts looking around. I notice that something looks a little. . . . .interesting.
At this point the Ultrasound tech says, "Who is your Doctor?" Ok, I'm getting really nervous. I tell her who my doctor is. She turns to me and says, "well, I'm just curious because you have TWINS here and your chart doesn't say anything about it."
Both Chris and I start freaking out! Our chart doesn't say anything about it because we didn't know!!
The weirdest part about it is that I had a strong feeling from the very beginning that we were having twins. I even had dreams about it. After hearing one singular heartbeat 3X in a row I decided my intuition was just wrong. We wrote off the idea of having twins and never thought about it again. But, SURPRISE! Twin girls!
We're totally freaking out.
BTW - We just finished up with Micah's appointment too. His thumb looks great. Doc thinks it will be totally healed in a few weeks.
Haven't officially gotten the test results back, but we'll keep you posted!

Do twins run in either of your families?
