Running of the Brides

One of my friends is getting married this summer and we are in search of the perfect wedding dress. Tomorrow we are headed to Filene's Basement in downtown Boston to participate in the Running of the Brides. What is running of the Brides you ask? Well, if you don't watch the show "Friends" here is a breakdown:

Hundreds of brides gather in the front of Filene's Basement where thousands of designer wedding dresses will be for one day and one day only. The best part? They are offered at a heavily discounted price. At the stroke of 8:00am, brides from all over will go running through those doors and pull off as many dresses as they possibly can to try on.

Oh yes, we've got it all. A team assemled, a team name and brightly colored T shirts with our logo. The only thing we are lacking is the whistle (if you've seen the Friends episode you know what I mean).

I'm ready to knock some brides over. I'm pumped!
